Tata Altroz Facelift: Interior and Efficiency Revealed
Tata Motors is teasing the upcoming Tata Altroz facelift. They reveal new features each time. The updated premium hatchback will launch in India on May 22, 2025. This is the first mid-cycle update since its launch in 2020. The hatchback will compete with Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Hyundai i20. Prices are expected to start from Rs 6.8 lakh (ex-showroom).
Interior and Features
Tata Motors has revealed the interior layout, fuel efficiency, and other features of the new Tata Altroz facelift. The cabin has been thoroughly reworked. It features a revamped dashboard, added tech, and design cues from Tata’s newer models. The layout is more refined and minimalist. It has a toned-down gloss finish for a classier look.

Fuel Efficiency
The Altroz facelift offers a claimed fuel efficiency of 21.5 kmpl. It has a refreshed climate control setup with a new touch-and-toggle interface. The centre console has been redesigned to integrate these updates. Automatic variants come with a revamped gear selector.
Engine and Transmission
The Altroz is likely to retain its existing engine lineup. This includes:
- 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol
- 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol
- 1.5-litre diesel option
- CNG variant with Tata’s twin-cylinder tank setup
