Julien Weber Takes Gold
Germany’s Julian Weber won the Gold medal with a 91.06-meter throw on his final attempt. Weber moved from Bronze to Silver after a 89.06-meter throw in his third attempt. He kept improving and finally beat Neeraj Chopra in the last throw.
Grenada’s Anderson Peters took the Bronze medal with an 85.64-meter throw on his first attempt.
India’s Kishore Jena finished 8th in the event with a 78.60-meter throw on his second attempt.
