ICAI CA Exam Schedule for September 2025: Key Dates and Tips
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released the exam dates for the CA Foundation, Intermediate, and Final courses. These exams will happen in September 2025. You can find this update on the ICAI’s official website.

Final Course Exam Dates
- Group I: September 3, 6, and 8, 2025
- Group II: September 10, 12, and 14, 2025
Intermediate Course Exam Dates
- Group I: September 4, 7, and 9, 2025
- Group II: September 11, 13, and 15, 2025
Foundation Course Exam Dates
- Foundation Papers: September 16, 18, 20, and 22, 2025
Important Notes
ICAI has stated that there will be no exams on September 5, 2025. This is because of Milad un Nabi, a Central Government holiday. The exam schedule will stay the same even if any exam day becomes a public holiday.
Exam Timings
Most exam papers will be 3 hours long. They will start at 2 PM and end at 5 PM IST. However, Paper 6 of the Final exam will be 4 hours long, from 2 PM to 6 PM IST. Papers 3 and 4 will be 2 hours each. Candidates will get an extra 15 minutes for reading from 1:45 PM to 2:00 PM. This does not apply to Papers 3 and 4 of the Foundation Exam and MCQ-based sections.

ICAI suggests all candidates to check the detailed exam schedule on the official ICAI website. Start preparing as soon as possible. Make a study plan and stick to it. Use study materials provided by ICAI. Practice with past exam papers to understand the exam pattern better.
