Revanth Reddy’s Delhi Meeting: Key Discussions and Updates

Portfolio Allocation and Cabinet Reshuffle Talks

Revanth meets Rahul, Kharge in Delhi

Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy met with AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge and senior leader Rahul Gandhi in Delhi. They talked about giving jobs to three new ministers. They also discussed a possible bigger change in the cabinet.

Importance of Social Justice

The Congress leaders told Revanth to make sure social justice is fair when giving out jobs. This is very important for both how it looks and for politics.

Possible Cabinet Changes

After the meeting, the AICC asked senior minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy to come to Delhi. This has made people think there might be bigger changes in the cabinet.

No one has officially said any ministers will be removed. But this move has made people talk again about possible exits or sidelining of ministers who are not doing well.

Balancing the Party

Uttam came with his wife and Kodad MLA N Padmavathi Reddy. Her name is being thought about for a future cabinet expansion. She might also become one of the four working presidents of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC).

This is part of a bigger plan to balance the party. The goal is to include important social and regional groups before local elections.

Bhatti Vikramarka’s Involvement

Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka was not in Delhi. But sources said a senior AICC leader talked to him on the phone after Revanth’s meeting with the top leaders.

There are strong signs that Bhatti may be asked to come to Delhi for more talks. His office did not confirm this as of late Tuesday night.

Focus on Telangana

A senior AICC leader said, “The top leaders have finished talks with the Karnataka leaders. They decided to do another caste census. Now they are focusing on Telangana.”

The leaders will think about the jobs for the new ministers. They will also consider the political effects of a bigger reshuffle. Talks with Revanth, Uttam, and likely Bhatti will continue into the night or happen on Wednesday.

They expect to announce the new jobs on Wednesday or Thursday.

Appointments and Strategy

Revanth’s meeting with Rahul Gandhi and Kharge lasted over two hours. They talked about more than just cabinet matters. They also discussed the pending appointments of four TPCC working presidents, district and block-level Congress presidents, the campaign committee, and the AICC programme implementation committee chairperson.

They also talked about the plan for the upcoming local elections. They made plans to target the BJP-led Centre’s ‘11 years of failure’.

Performance Reports and Invitations

Sources said that AICC general secretary (organisation) KC Venugopal gave a detailed list of jobs. This list includes jobs held by Revanth, Bhatti, Uttam, and other ministers. It was shown to Rahul Gandhi and Kharge.

A performance report made by AICC Telangana leader Meenakshi Natarajan was also shown. It included feedback from party MLAs and senior leaders, talking about both good and bad points of the current cabinet.

Revanth invited Rahul Gandhi and Kharge to speak at public meetings in Telangana. The meetings will talk about the successful completion of the state’s caste survey, the passing of the 42% BC quota law, and the party’s promise to SC categorization.

They are finalizing dates with the central leadership. The TPCC will organize big rallies around these dates.

Vivek Venkatswamy’s Meetings

New minister G Vivek Venkatswamy met Kharge on Monday and Revanth on Tuesday. Vivek said he will work hard with whatever job he is given. Sources say he is trying to get the energy or education job.

The leaders told him to make the party stronger before the local elections. They also told him to campaign hard against the BJP’s record at the Centre.
