Big e-Aadhaar Update: Share Digitally with Ease
Exciting changes are coming to e-Aadhaar! Soon, you’ll be able to share your Aadhaar digitally using a new QR code-based app. No more need for physical photocopies. You can choose to share either the full or masked version of your Aadhaar.
By November, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) will make updates easier. You won’t need to visit Aadhaar centers as often. Your address and other information will update automatically. This will use data from official databases like birth certificates and driving licenses.
This change aims to make things simpler for everyone. It will also help reduce fraud. UIDAI is even considering adding electricity bill records to make it more convenient.
