Patna Municipal Corporation did a big check. They looked at all 83,000 street lights in the city. They found a problem: 3,200 lights were not working.

19 area officers joined in this check. Each one looked at the street lights in their own area. They had to find and tell about any lights that were not working.
Fixing the Lights: A Must-Do Task
The city’s top official gave a clear order. All broken street lights must be fixed. The workers have 10 days to finish this job.
Regular Checks to Keep Lights Working
From now on, workers will check and fix street lights often. This will help keep the lights working well all the time.
