BookMyShow, the popular online ticketing platform, has taken down all content related to stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra, as confirmed by a Shiv Sena leader from Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s faction on Saturday.
Removal of Kamra’s Listings and Artist Profile

Rahool Kanal, the Shiv Sena’s social media head, thanked BookMyShow CEO Ashish Hemrajani for maintaining the portal’s cleanliness and excluding such artists from the entertainment list.
Kamra’s Response to the Removal
In response to the removal, Kamra asked BookMyShow if he could still list his shows on the platform, adding, “If not, it’s fine. I understand.”

On Wednesday, Kanal wrote to Hemrajani, urging him to remove Kamra from the platform. Kanal described Kamra as an individual with a history of criminal behavior and a pattern of defamation targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, chief ministers, and deputy chief ministers.
