RPF Saves 7 Kids and Catches 2 Traffickers at Gaya Station

Operation Nanhe Farishte Stops Child Trafficking Attempt

On a successful Saturday morning, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) at Gaya station rescued seven young boys and arrested two suspected child traffickers as part of Operation Nanhe Farishte.

RPF Halts Traffickers and Saves Five Boys

  • RPF officers stopped Dharmendra Manjhi from Tankuppa and Manowar Hussain from Guraru near gate number one of the Gaya station.
  • Five young boys, aged 12 to 14 years, were with the two men.
  • When questioned, the traffickers admitted that the boys were being taken to Jaipur to work in a bangle factory for a monthly salary of Rs 5000.
  • The boys’ family members claimed they had no information about the workplace or the factory.
  • The two traffickers were handed over to the government rail police, and the five rescued boys were sent to the child help desk at Gaya.

RPF Finds Two More Boys on Platform

  • Two more boys, aged 14 and 12 years, were discovered wandering on platform number one of Gaya station.
  • When asked, the boys confessed that they had left home without informing their parents or family members.
  • The boys were handed over to the child help desk to ensure their safety and return home.

Previous Rescue Efforts

On Thursday, three young boys from Dobhi and Behra police stations in Gaya were stopped at platform number one of Gaya station. They had left home to find jobs in Bhatinda, Punjab. They were also handed over to the railway child help desk and warned about the risks of traffickers.
