Adani Energy Solutions Wins Rs 2,800 Crore Transmission Project for Green Hydrogen and Ammonia Production

Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL) has secured a power transmission project in Gujarat, worth Rs 2,800 crore. The project aims to provide green electrons for Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia production in Mundra, Gujarat. The project, named “Transmission System for Green Hydrogen/Ammonia Manufacturing Potential in Mundra, Gujarat,” includes upgrading the Navinal (Mundra) electrical substation with two 765/400kV transformers.
Project Details and Schedule
- Construction of a 75 km 765kV double-circuit line connecting to the Bhuj substation
- Addition of 150 cKM of lines and 3,000 MVA transformation capacity
- Project completion timeline of 36 months
Expanding AESL’s Transmission Infrastructure
This project will increase AESL’s transmission infrastructure, reaching totals of 25,928 cKM and 87,186 MVA. The project was awarded through Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) with PFC Consulting Limited as the coordinator.
