PGA TOUR Welcomes Brian Rolapp as New CEO
The PGA TOUR has named Brian Rolapp as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Rolapp brings over 20 years of experience as a top NFL executive. The PGA TOUR CEO Search Committee unanimously selected him. This committee includes Arthur M. Blank, Tiger Woods, Adam Scott, Jay Monahan, Joe Gorder, and Sam Kennedy. Rolapp will start his new role later this summer.
The Leadership Transition
Commissioner Jay Monahan will step down by the end of 2026. He will hand over operational responsibilities to Rolapp. Monahan will continue to serve on the PGA TOUR Policy Board and PGA TOUR Enterprises Board.
Monahan shared, “Last year, I told our Boards that after ten years as Commissioner, I would step down from my role at the end of 2026.”
He added, “We’ve found the perfect leader in Brian Rolapp. I’m excited to support him as he transitions from the NFL into his new role leading the PGA TOUR.”
Meet Brian Rolapp
Brian Rolapp was the NFL’s Chief Media and Business Officer. He has a strong track record of transforming sports media and fan engagement.
Rolapp stated, “I am honored to join the PGA TOUR at such a pivotal time.”

Brian Rolapp’s NFL Tenure
At the NFL, Rolapp oversaw major media deals with companies like Amazon, CBS, and ESPN/ABC. He also played a key role in launching NFL+.
Arthur M. Blank, who chaired the Search Committee, said, “Having worked with Brian during our time in the NFL, I have seen firsthand his ability to lead with vision and collaboration.”
Tiger Woods praised the appointment, saying, “Brian’s appointment is a win for players and fans. He has a clear respect for the game and our players.”
