Cauvery on Wheels: Bengaluru’s Solution to Clean Drinking Water

The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) has launched an innovative service called ‘Sanchari Cauvery – Cauvery on Wheels.’ This first-of-its-kind initiative in India delivers BIS-certified drinking water right to your doorstep in Bengaluru.
Tackling the Groundwater Crisis

To address this issue, BWSSB created an app and a website for booking tanker deliveries at fixed and discounted rates. The service offers tracked tankers with OTP-protected deliveries, ensuring fair pricing and reliable water access.

BWSSB chairman Ram Prasath Manohar stated that the project aims to deliver clean drinking water from Cauvery connect centres to consumers efficiently.
Priority for Villages and Pending Water Connection Applicants
Priority will be given to 110 villages and residents who have applied for Cauvery water connections but are still waiting for pipeline installations. Citizens can book tanker water on demand and avail it at discounted prices.
Registration for Private Tanker Owners
