Changes in CBSE Post-Result Activities
This year, CBSE has made some changes to its post-result activities. Now, students can get photocopies of their answer scripts before applying for re-evaluation or re-verification. This is a change from the previous system.
Official Notice from CBSE
According to CBSE, “A candidate can obtain a photocopy of the evaluated answer book first. Then, they can decide whether to opt for Verification of marks or Re-evaluation. A candidate can apply for either Verification of marks or Re-evaluation or both as per the due procedure after obtaining a photocopy of the answer book.”
How to Apply for a Photocopy of the Answer Script
Follow these steps to apply for a photocopy of your answer script:
- Visit the official website: cbseit.in/cbse/web/rchk
- Click on the link “Apply for Answer Book” for Class 10 or 12.
- Pay ₹500–₹700 per subject to apply for a photocopy of the answer script.
How to Apply for Re-evaluation
If you are not happy with your Class 10 or 12 Board results, follow these steps to apply for re-evaluation:
- Check for totalling errors or unmarked answers.
- If you find any mistakes, apply for re-evaluation of specific answers (up to 10 questions per subject).
- At cbseit.in/cbse/web/rchk, click on “Apply For Re-Verification.”
- Pay ₹100 per question for re-evaluation of marks.
How to Apply for Re-verification
Follow these steps to apply for re-verification:
- Click on “Apply for Re-verification” on the same portal.
- Select the subjects and pay ₹500 per subject.
- Click on “Submit” to complete the process.
- Keep a hard copy of the acknowledgement slip for future reference.
