The new fleet will initially serve key neighborhoods in East and West Delhi, including Ghazipur, Vinod Nagar East, and Nangloi. Each bus has seating for 23 passengers, with six seats reserved for women, and space for 13 standing commuters.

The DEVi buses are equipped with an Intelligent Transport Management System (ITMS) that includes features such as GPS tracking, real-time route displays, automatic passenger counters, voice announcements, and CCTV surveillance for enhanced safety. Accessibility and comfort are ensured with panic buttons, wheelchair ramps, and knee-down mechanisms.

At the flag-off ceremony, CM Rekha Gupta emphasized the government’s vision to build a world-class transport network in Delhi. “We are determined to make urban mobility in Delhi cleaner, smarter, and more inclusive. DEVi is a significant leap forward, offering affordable and environment-friendly connectivity solutions to our citizens,” she said.
