Tragic Accident in Tiruvannamalai

A heartbreaking car-bus collision near Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu, took the lives of four people on Sunday.

Details of the Accident

• The victims were riding in an SUV after a trip to Bengaluru.
• Around 2:30 am, they collided head-on with a Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) bus.
• The accident happened at So Kattukulam on the Chennai-Tiruvannamalai national highway.

The force of the collision was so intense that all four car occupants were killed instantly. The front part of the car was torn apart, leaving the victims’ bodies trapped in the wreckage.

Emergency Actions

• Officers from Keezhpennaiyur station and a national highways patrol team arrived at the scene.
• They retrieved the bodies and transported them to Tiruvannamalai government medical college and hospital for post-mortem examinations.
• Keezhpennaiyur police have filed a case and started an investigation.

The victims were identified as Sailesh, Sathish Kumar, Stalin, and Charush, all residing in Puducherry.
