Ex-IPS Officer Shivdeep W Lande Launches ‘Hind Sena’ Party

Aims to Contest All 243 Seats in Bihar Assembly Elections

New Political Party Emerges in Bihar

Shivdeep W Lande, a former IPS officer, announced the launch of his new political party, ‘Hind Sena’, on Tuesday. Speaking to reporters in Patna, Lande revealed that his party will contest all 243 seats in the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections.

Second New Party After Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraaj

Following poll strategist Prashant Kishor’s recent launch of Jan Suraaj, Lande has become the second person to float a new political party. Unlike Kishor, Lande has declared himself the national president of ‘Hind Sena’ and plans to continue his public relations campaign in Bihar.

Lande’s Background and Vision

A 2006-batch IPS officer from Maharashtra, Lande is known for his honesty. He took voluntary retirement from service last year to serve his ‘karmbhoomi’ Bihar. His party aims to fight for Bihar’s rights and bring the youth into leadership roles.

Rejecting Lucrative Offers and Criticizing Social Justice Politics

Lande refused lucrative offers, including his nomination to the Rajya Sabha and the CM face of Bihar. He criticized political parties focusing on social justice, stating they were doing caste and sub-caste politics. He highlighted the burning issue of migration and the lack of safe drinking water facilities.

Creating a Clean System Above Vote Bank Politics

Lande aims to create a clean system above vote bank politics. He will be the face of the party in all 243 assembly segments in the election. He visited almost all districts of Bihar in the last month, except Bettiah and Bagaha in West Champaran.

Three Basic Principles: Humanity, Justice, and Service

Lande emphasized that anyone joining ‘Hind Sena’ would have to follow the three basic principles of humanity, justice, and service. He stated that the party will be a platform for people with sensitive thinking.

  • Humanity
  • Justice
  • Service

Democratic Rights to Bring Change

Lande believes that change can be brought about through democratic rights of votes. He said the youth want change, and the question is how to bring about that change.
