Four Family Members Tragically Killed in Buxar Road Accident
Car Crashes into Stationary Truck on NH-922
A devastating accident occurred on Sunday morning when a car carrying seven family members collided with a stationary sand-laden truck on NH-922 near Harikishunpur village in Buxar district. Tragically, four family members lost their lives, and three others were injured.
Family Headed to Cremation Ground
- The family was en route to Buxar Charitravan from Shivpur Tola in Rohtas district to perform the last rites of their loved one.
- The deceased were identified as Pramod Singh (46), his son Pratap Kumar (10), Pappu Singh (45), and Ritesh Kumar (12).
- The injured family members were rushed to Buxar sadar hospital and later transferred to Varanasi for further treatment.
Injured Recovering, Police Investigating
According to Sanjay Kumar, the SHO of Industrial Area police station, three people died at the scene, while Bunty succumbed to his injuries on the way to Varanasi. The injured, including Rohit Kumar (14), Premchand (20), and Bhola Singh, are currently receiving treatment at a trauma center in Varanasi and are reported to be in stable condition.
The family was traveling to perform the last rites of Phool Patiya Devi, the mother of one of the deceased, Pramod Singh.
The police are actively investigating the cause of the accident.
