Three Young Men Killed in Padma
Three young cousins, Nandlal Sahu, Shivpujan, and Rajkumar Sahu, lost their lives in Padma, Hazaribag district, when lightning struck a damaged house they were taking shelter in during heavy rain. The incident took place at 7 PM on Thursday. The family had recently bought a four-wheeler and were on their way to Chhinnamastika temple in Rajrappa from Bhadrakali temple in Chatra.
Labourer Dies in Churchu Block
Gango Kisku (50), a labourer from village Gondwar Tola Hitli Bandh in the Ango police station area of Churchu block, passed away in the evening after being struck by lightning. He was grazing his cattle in the forest near his house when the incident occurred at 2:00 PM. Gango Kisku was the only breadwinner for his family and leaves behind three sons and two daughters.
Widow Severely Injured in Ichak Block
Malti Devi (61), a widow from Kaile village in Ichak block, sustained severe burn injuries when lightning struck her while she was grazing goats in the village forest. She is currently receiving treatment at Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College and Hospital, where her condition is reported to be critical.
