Patna: Governor and Chancellor Arif Mohammad Khan has taken a big step. He wants to improve how state universities work. So, he has set up a state-level committee. This group will have the vice-chancellors (VCs) of Patna, Jai Prakash, and Purnea universities.

• Follow Exam Schedules: Universities must follow the exam calendars. This is for both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Biometric Attendance: Universities must ensure teachers and students use biometric attendance.
• Remove Unauthorized Hostel Residents: VCs must remove all unauthorized hostel residents. They should get help from the district administration.
