Gujarat Titans Gear Up for IPL 2025 Comeback

Team Stays Focused Amidst League Pause

Gujarat Titans are training hard in Ahmedabad. They are not letting the recent IPL pause slow them down. The league stopped for a week on May 8. This happened because of tensions between India and Pakistan.

ESPNCricinfo reports that most of the team stayed in India. Only Jos Buttler from England and Gerald Coetzee from South Africa went home.

Ready for the League to Start Again

The IPL will likely restart soon. It could begin on May 16 or May 17. Gujarat Titans are all set for the comeback.

GT have 16 points from 11 games. They need just one more win in their last three games to make the playoffs.

Games Left to Play

  • Lucknow Super Giants (Home)
  • Chennai Super Kings (Home)

Where Will the Games Be Played?

We still don’t know if games will be at home and away. Before the India-Pakistan ceasefire on May 10, reports said games might be in three southern cities: Chennai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad.

Final Might Move to Ahmedabad

On May 11, reports said the final could move from Kolkata to Ahmedabad. This is because of the weather.

Gujarat Titans Aim for the Top

Gujarat Titans have a good chance to finish in the top two. If they make the final, it will be their third time. All three finals would be at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. They beat Rajasthan Royals in 2022 but lost to Chennai Super Kings in 2023.
