Infosys Invites Experienced Tech Talents

Infosys, the renowned software company established by Narayana Murthy, is on a hiring spree for seasoned professionals in over 40 specialized areas. The firm seeks candidates with at least two years of experience in niche fields like cloud computing, cyber security, Java Python, dotnet, Android/iOS development, and automation testing.

In Sync with Annual Lateral Hiring Goals

This recruitment drive aligns with the company’s yearly lateral hiring objectives. Infosys held similar recruitment events in February and March of the previous year, hosting walk-in interviews at their development centers in Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad.

Internal Notifications and Preferred Locations

The organization has shared internal notifications about the recruitment plans, enabling applicants to indicate their preferred interview venues and desired work locations upon selection.

Online Recruitment Sessions and Fresh Graduates

  • Around three years back, the tech firm conducted online recruitment sessions in Bengaluru as the city bounced back from the Covid-19 pandemic.
  • Infosys has revealed plans to onboard 20,000 fresh graduates in the upcoming financial year, while keeping mum about the split between fresh graduates and experienced professionals.

Filling Staffing Gaps and Project Demands

The recruitment campaign aims to bridge staffing gaps due to attrition and cater to requirements for both ongoing and new project opportunities. Additional staffing needs have surfaced for smaller projects, according to sources.

Offer Letters to Engineering Students

Last month, the company handed out around 600 offer letters to engineering students from institutions near Karnataka’s Dharwad district. This move is part of the strategy to ramp up operations at their Hubballi development center.

Local Recruitment Drive and Transfer Policy

The company’s growth strategy includes hiring proficient graduates from local educational institutions to expand their workforce. This local recruitment initiative goes hand in hand with the company’s June transfer policy from the previous year, which provides incentives to existing employees from other locations who are open to relocating to Hubballi.
