IPL 2025: KKR vs LSG Match Rescheduled
KKR’s Home Match Against LSG Moved to April 8
The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) has been rescheduled. Initially set for April 6 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata, the game will now take place on April 8, as announced by the BCCI on Friday.
April 6 Now a Single-Header
April 6 will now feature only one match, with Sunrisers Hyderabad hosting Gujarat Titans at 7:30 PM IST, as originally planned. The KKR vs LSG fixture will be played on April 8 at 3:30 PM IST, and there will be no double-header matches that day.
Punjab Kings vs Chennai Super Kings on April 8
The evening game on April 8 will be between Punjab Kings and Chennai Super Kings in New Chandigarh, as per the original schedule.
Reason for Rescheduling
The decision to reschedule the KKR vs LSG match was made following a request from Kolkata Police to the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB). The police needed to deploy personnel across the city due to Ram Navami festivities, which will be celebrated on April 6 this year.
KKR’s Performance in IPL 2025
