Krunal was the game-changer. He stopped Punjab from reaching their target of 191 runs. This helped Bengaluru win by six runs. It was their first IPL trophy.

“When I joined Bengaluru, I said I love winning trophies. After three and a half months, I kept my promise. It’s been great – 10 years, 4 IPL trophies. I told Hardik on the phone that our family now has 9 IPL trophies in 11 years,” Krunal said.
Krunal’s Smart Bowling Plan
Krunal’s success came from his smart bowling. He changed his pace and took risks. This plan worked well as he took important wickets.

Krunal explained his plan: “When we batted first, I saw that slower bowling worked better. In this game, you need courage to bowl slowly because there’s little room for error. I trusted myself and changed my pace. This created more chances for wickets.”
He added, “My strength is knowing what the game needs. I always trust my feelings.”
