These games helped decide who would make it to the playoffs. Punjab Kings and Gujarat Titans won their matches. They secured their spots in the top four. Royal Challengers Bengaluru also moved forward.

With only one spot left in the top four and three teams still in the race, let’s see what Lucknow Super Giants need to do to make it to the playoffs.

How Can LSG Qualify?
Three teams are still in the running for the playoffs:

- Delhi Capitals: 13 points, 2 matches left
- Lucknow Super Giants: 10 points, 3 matches left
For LSG to make it to the top four, they must win all three of their remaining matches. This will give them 16 points. But they also need to improve their NRR. So, they must win their upcoming games by big margins.
LSG’s fate also depends on other teams’ results:

- Delhi Capitals need to beat MI.
- Punjab Kings must beat both DC and MI to help LSG’s chances.
If LSG loses even one of their upcoming matches, they will be out of the playoffs race.

IPL 2025 Playoffs Rules
The top two teams in the points table will play in Qualifier 1. The winner goes straight to the final. The loser gets another chance. They will play against the winner of the Eliminator (between the teams in third and fourth place) for a spot in the final.
