Jack Grealish Left Out of FIFA Club World Cup Squad
Manchester City has announced their squad for the FIFA Club World Cup 2025. Jack Grealish, the England international, is not on the list.
Grealish’s Recent Struggles
Grealish’s omission comes as no surprise. The midfielder has seen less playing time this season. He was key in their 2023 treble win. But he only started seven Premier League games in 2024-25. He was not used in the FA Cup final against Crystal Palace.
Grealish was also left out of the final Premier League game at Fulham. Signed for £100 million from Aston Villa, his future is uncertain. Many clubs in England and Europe are interested in him.
Kevin De Bruyne to Leave Manchester City
Kevin De Bruyne is also not going to the United States with the team. The Belgian playmaker is leaving Manchester City this summer. His contract ends on June 30. He could have played before then but will join Serie A champions Napoli as a free agent.

Pep Guardiola’s squad includes new signings:

- Rayan Cherki
- Tijani Reijnders
- Marcus Bettinelli
The squad could have up to 35 players. More players can be added for the knockout stages if needed.
Manchester City’s FIFA Club World Cup 2025 Campaign
Manchester City starts their FIFA Club World Cup 2025 campaign against Wydad Casablanca in Philadelphia. They will also play against Al Ain and Juventus in the group stages.
Mateo Kovacic is missing due to injury. James McAtee is with England Under-21s.
