Kolkata Weather Update
The Met office forecasts that rainfall will increase in Kolkata by Tuesday afternoon. HR Biswas, a meteorologist and the head of the weather forecast section at the Regional Meteorological Centre Kolkata, provided some details.
“The monsoon flow is progressing over Odisha. We anticipate it will begin in parts of Bengal within the next two days. The cloud cover over Kolkata is from the Bay of Bengal. This indicates that the monsoon is approaching,” stated Biswas.

As per a special IMD bulletin, recent weather analysis shows favorable conditions for the southwest monsoon to advance further. This includes:
