In Dombivli, a simple English greeting sparked a violent dispute between neighbors. The Dhoble family reportedly attacked Poonam Gupta, her friend, and her husband because of the language used in the greeting.

Police Intervention
Both families registered cross-complaints of assault at the Vishnu Nagar police station. Initially, a non-cognizable cross-complaint was filed due to injuries on both sides. However, after CCTV footage of the incident circulated on social media, police are reevaluating their position.

Poonam Gupta has been requested to provide a new statement, and appropriate measures will be taken based on her statement if she decides to file an FIR. Gupta, who works as an accountant along with her friend, expressed that the family is now living in fear.
