NEW DELHI: Congress suggested four leaders for the all-party delegation. But they did not include Shashi Tharoor, a Congress leader and Thiruvananthapuram MP. Tharoor will lead the delegation for the Operation Sindoor briefing.

Congress Submits Names of Four MPs

Congress leader Jairam Ramesh shared on X that Congress proposed four MPs:

Anand Sharma, former Union Cabinet Minister
Gaurav Gogoi, Deputy Leader, INC in Lok Sabha
Dr. Syed Naseer Hussain, MP, Rajya Sabha
Raja Brar, MP, Lok Sabha

These MPs will join the government’s delegations to foreign countries. They will explain India’s position on terrorism from Pakistan.

Tharoor Included by Union Minister Kiren Rijiju

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju added Tharoor to the seven MPs selected to brief global leaders about Operation Sindoor. Earlier, there was a rumor that Tharoor would join the BJP. But Tharoor denied this rumor.
