Sunrisers Hyderabad Beats Kolkata Knight Riders

Sunrisers Hyderabad won big against Kolkata Knight Riders in Delhi. They scored 110 runs more than their opponents. This win moved Sunrisers Hyderabad up to 6th place in the points table. If Lucknow Super Giants lose to Royal Challengers Bengaluru on Tuesday (May 27), Sunrisers Hyderabad will finish the season in 6th place. The defending champions, Kolkata Knight Riders, ended up in 8th place.

Heinrich Klaasen scored a fast century in just 37 balls. This helped Sunrisers Hyderabad score a huge total of 278/3. It’s the third highest score in IPL history. Kolkata Knight Riders could only score 168 runs in reply.

Chennai Super Kings finished their season in 10th place. This is the first time they have been last in the points table. The winner of the match between Punjab Kings (2nd) and Mumbai Indians (4th) on Monday (May 26) will move to the top of the points table.
