Missing Man’s Body Recovered in Gaur Village
Patna: A sad discovery was made in Gaur village, Siwan district, early Sunday morning. A 55-year-old man, missing since Friday, was found dead in a field. The man was identified as Satyanarayan Prasad.
Family’s Claims and Police Action
The family of the deceased has made serious claims. They believe acid was poured on his face and body after he was killed. This was likely done to make identification hard. The police have filed a report against unknown people based on the victim’s son’s complaint.
The police from GB Nagar station and Sadar SDPO Ajay Kumar Singh acted quickly. They visited the scene and sent the body for examination.

The victim’s son, Rajan Mahto, shared his thoughts. He said, “I identified my father by his clothes and a torch in his pocket. The condition of the body makes me think that the killer tried to burn his face after the murder.”
