A Tragic Scene at Ara Railway Station Due to Unrequited Love

The Shocking Event

In a distressing turn of events, a 24-year-old man, Aman Kumar, fatally shot a 16-year-old girl, Ayushi Kumari, and her 53-year-old father, Anil Kumar Sinha, at the Ara railway station on Tuesday evening. He then took his own life, causing terror and chaos among the passengers on the foot overbridge.

The Deceased

  • Ayushi Kumari, a 16-year-old MBA hopeful studying in Delhi
  • Anil Kumar Sinha, Ayushi’s 53-year-old father, employed at a private firm in Ara

Ayushi hailed from a well-educated family. Her elder sister is an IITian in Hyderabad, and her mother is a teacher at Navodaya Vidyalaya in Bihiya, Bhojpur. The family had recently celebrated their new home in the Bhilai area, just outside Ara town.

The Reason Behind the Tragedy

According to police sources, the motive for this tragic incident was unrequited love. Ayushi had reportedly turned down Aman’s romantic advances, prompting him to carry out this horrific act.
