UGC NET June 2025 Exam: Updated Schedule and Essential Information
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced new dates for the UGC NET June 2025 exam. Check the subject-wise schedule on the official website.
Key Dates
The exam will now run from June 25, 2025, to June 29, 2025. It was initially set to start on June 21.
Exam Schedule
The exam will be held in two shifts each day:
- Morning shift: 9 AM to 12 PM
- Afternoon shift: 3 PM to 6 PM
Exam Structure
The test includes two papers with multiple-choice questions. There will be no break between them.
- Paper 1: 100 marks
- Paper 2: 200 marks
For most subjects, the exam will be in English and Hindi. You must answer in the language you selected during registration.

- Visit the official website.
- Click on the UGC NET June 2025 exam schedule link on the homepage.
- A PDF file with the exam dates will open.
- Download and print the file for your records.
Steps to Download the Admit Card
- Go to the official website.
- Find and click on the “UGC NET June 2025 Admit Card Download” link.
- Enter your application number, date of birth, and security pin.
- Submit your details.
- Download and print the admit card for the exam day.

- Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor roles
- Assistant Professor positions and Ph.D. admissions
- Ph.D. admissions only for 85 subjects in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode
