US Supports India: Shashi Tharoor’s Team Talks Operation Sindoor
NEW DELHI: Shashi Tharoor, a Congress MP, led a group from different parties to the United States. They met with important American leaders. They talked about the increasing danger of cross-border terrorism in India. They also discussed India’s strong response, known as Operation Sindoor.

Update on Terror Attacks and Operation Sindoor
The group told Landau about the terror attack in Pahalgam on April 22. This attack killed 26 people and hurt many others. They also explained about India’s military action that started on May 7.

Tharoor also met with members of the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee. He had separate meetings with Senator Chris Van Hollen. He also had a phone call with Senator Cory Booker. The group shared information about India’s security problems and military actions.

Tharoor said his talk with Senator Cory Booker was “warm and productive.” He explained the repeated acts of terrorism. He also gave details about Operation Sindoor. Tharoor stressed India’s strong decision to fight against future acts of terrorism.

Dinner Hosted by Indian Ambassador
The group went to a special dinner hosted by the Indian Ambassador. Former envoy Taranjit Singh Sandhu said, “Happy to meet so many old friends and supporters of India-US partnership at Ambassador’s dinner.”

Tharoor also talked to the US media at the National Press Club in Washington. The session was led by Indian-American journalist Poonam Sharma. He wrote, “A lively session… covered many issues related to Operation Sindoor and India’s actions against terrorism.”

Operation Sindoor
